The ISP Middle School in 2016/17 has two classes (G7 and G8). The curriculum is based on a mix of elements (Cambridge One, Italian “scuola media” program, transdisciplinarity.
During the school year 2017/18 ISP will submit the application for MPY accreditation. The MYP curriculum framework comprises eight subject groups, providing a broad and balanced education for early adolescents. The MYP programme is a natural extension of the PYP and engages learners in an active display of their learner profiles. Students engage in topics with their inquiry mind and delve into topics through a rich and diverse perspective. The MYP program will run over three years: M1, M2 and M3 (G7, G8 and G9).
Within ISP we will tailor our education to offer students both the Italian Terza Media examinations in M3 which run alongside the MYP curriculum. These two systems compliment each other to offer students a diverse and truly worldly educational system: MYP will be also the programme for M4 and M5, when ISP will have an its own High School.
